+YOUR FACE WILL BE ON THE ROOF OF MY BED FROM TODAY+

I can’t help myself away from acrobatic, athletic and body bending sport things. It runs through my blood to instantly obsess with good looking guys with inspiring body shape. My mouth can’t hold drooling over him the first time I saw Danell Leyva with my mom on TV. We both agree to admit his beauty and talent with statement “God Has Made Him In A Very Good Mood”. This Cuban male gymnast is only a year younger and not taller than me, BUT WHY ON EARTH he looks like almost reaching 2meters roof and perfect!  He’s like a prophet of my fantasy!

This is the part i say BINGO! I got this photo from ESPN magazine "the body issue".

+REACH 2012+

So this is where I spent for the last 6days outside hot hot Jakarta. It’s a very great event developed by Buddha Dharma Indonesia Foundation every year in Mega Mendung, West Java. A summer camp which really concern about any kind of art that mostly didn’t taught enough at schools. There are so many classes like fashion, singing, stomp dance, cooking and etc. The participants are from all over Indonesia. It’s such a great experience for having new friends, to learn new cultures and learn how to socialize.
Most of the participants are from elementary school students to college students. I wasn’t there to be one of the students of course, I was invited to be one of fashion teachers with my college lecture Ichwan Thoha.  This is my second time invited to be fashion teacher in this event, last year I taught fashion history, but this year I taught fashion concept and its correlation with music. It’s more like holiday for me than work, the atmosphere is extremely fun and fulfilled with EXTREMELY NICE people. You can’t be angry, no matter how.
The first day we came, we’re having a little tour around the location. This is Myogan Ji temple, a Japanese Buddha temple which crowded by congregation every 5 am and 5 pm.

These are graves of the first person who brings the religion. Buried besides his wife. "'till death do us part".
We found this ancient Japanese style house, it looks like half buried. We're so ecstatic to take a photo, reminds me of houses in movie The Ring. Thanks Donna for taking this photo.

Gang of fashion class on Youth Monument. At the end of the event every students gather here to read the writings on monument like an oath ceremony.
Each contingent from all over city has to make a monument or an installation that represents their meaning of the contingent name, and their passion. One of the installation almost made me cry, because I really get the meaning of it and so inspiring. And I even  forgot to take a photo of it, silly me.

This installation is my favorite. So bionic, steam punk, futuristic yet post-apocalyptic. It matches my ring!

Ah-mazing installation from REACH committee. Fashion crews are a bit narcissistic. Had to be!

And this is me teaching. Most of my friends always say 'kinky' when I told them I teach. I don't get why, I just take it as a compliment. lol.
These are mood boards they've made with various concepts related to music genres. It divided by three big genres: Jazz, Rock, and Dang Dut. Then it divided into sub genres. This year they don't dress the model, but dress the singers.
With so many choices of clothes and accessories, There are still some racks of clothes around the class. who can handle not to try?

Oh  I obviously CAN'T! I found this white lace blouse which..looks good on me

This is me with Rika, singer participants who sang 80's rock song "Tua Tua Keladi". Femme Fatale is their theme for the show. I've made the flogger by my own hand in 20 minutes!
I looked a bit like cow in that photo.By the way, only the singer who's allowed to wear shoes, it's like their culture to bare foot inside room, especially when the venue of the show is actually a Vihara.

Those are singers on stage, receiving comments from the judges. They're having nice performance for singers who just learn to sing for only 6days. I'm so hoping to come back again next year to spread knowledge and absorbs fun and passion of youth.

+VANIA ZOURAVLIOV+

She was born in Russia. This Gothic illustrator has an eye for details and rendering. I salute her endurance on making an exquisite small details of the drawings, a big star for her patience. Amazing dark, macabre story screams a lot  with a melody of femininity. It is vulgarly real but figurative at the same time. Her drawings giving a thirst of fantasy for the eyes, craving for some little more, like telling you a story you rarely heard before. From her creation, I can see her affection with Asian ladies. Lots of her drawings appearing women in Asian feature, especially on the eyes. Somehow the last picture reminds me of my grandma's very old tea set. I guess Vania should make a set of Tarot cards. I believe it will be artistically successful and I will proudly become a tarot reader.

+MAGISTUS HOUSE FOR 3RD EPISODE OF DELUXE SYMPHONY

So this is me(second left) with the boys for Deluxe Symphony. Those are Rio Dewanto, Evan Sanders, and Ben Joshua. All of them are Indonesian acting protege which I believe their photographs are put at the altar of their million fans in this country. They'll be singing for the next 24th July Deluxe Symphony, 21.30 pm on Metro TV.
This is the second time I've made costumes for this amazing show. The 2nd episode, My clothes worn by Rezanov, a vocalist of rock band GRIBS. This third episode I've made clothes for these drooling handsome guys.
If you people wonder what kind of theme of the costumes, It's actually modernized Matador. Songs from Faris RM(Indonesian 80's rock star, you might called "Indonesian David Bowie") are songs they'll perform. The first time I've heard from the stylist they will perform Faris' songs I was thinking about David Bowie, eccentric, ruffles, sparkle, eighties, frills, jabot and another tender gender bender details.
They requested a male bustier for Rio, I'm quite proud because I have it from 2009 halloween costume which actually my bustier project in college. Jabot detail and sparkled collar will collaborate the eccentricity of his costume. The lace covered pants actually the second pants I've made for Rio. I was made gold baroque damask mixed with brown satin pants, and it's damn damn ugly, just like a pair of banana chocolate legs. In a very last minute time I rush my feet to fabric store and bought that quite expensive lace(since financial problems aren't yet solved). I'm quite satisfied for the result because Rio needs no more fitting and he doesn't complain, at all. Thanks for his great body and masculinity.
The second costume is for Ben Joshua(right). Fur details on the shoulder is actually just my own variation. The show never really request for it but I think it's nice to put a ferocious twist for dramatic performance. You might think it's a bit far from matador image, I intended to do that. Inspired by the bull, so I guess it's marvelous to use all black color and give 'animal' feeling. Ring details around the waist are actually big eyelets but I just hand-glue it on. On the sleeves, I put buckles on it, it's not so visible on the photo. His pants is actually something I love. It has fur knee pad and use different fabric up and bottom, same color but different textures. So for Ben the look I give is more to animal inspired dominatrix matador(sounds kinky for me).
Evan's maroon velvet caped jacket is the most sweat-flooding effort. I give an extra workmanship on it. I never really actually do hand-beading but for this..ehm..masterpiece, but I did it, collaborate with my assistant. The left part of the jacket has more details than the cape part. Trimmings, beaded lace, sparkled tulle, and sequins are installed. I just finished this jacket few minutes before I brought to studio. Evan Pants is just simple cut out paneled matador pair of pants. Outer panel of it is maroon velvet with small lace detail around waist hand sewn on it. A Couture costume is always exhausting since 50% of the work used by hands, but no matter how hard it is, doing a costume is always a thrill for me. It is definitely my thing, just like a rough sex on top of a grave. If you wanna see the details you better watch them this Sunday night.
